Author Kelona Salway
Kelona Salway has been editing fiction and nonfiction alike since elementary school. She earned a bachelor’s degree from BYU in communications with an emphasis in print journalism. She worked for newspapers for a few years, but copy editing and page design are done at night after the reporters go home, so she switched to a day job editing and writing boring fuel pump and database manuals. Through it all, Kelona has maintained an insatiable appetite for reading and discovered Jane Austen variations in 1998.
Kelona has lived in eight states and three countries and has visited many more. She and her husband spent six months exploring England soon after their wedding, and she dreams of returning. She currently lives with her family in Central California. All five of her sons have read Pride and Prejudice because she homeschools them and requires it (and because they love her and want to understand her obsession).
